How to care for your wooden wick candles
Wooden wick candle safe burning instructions:
To ensure your candles burn clean and last longer, keep the wick trimmed to its original height or 1/8 inch before each lighting. If the flame is too high and producing smoke trim to 3/16 inch.
Wood wicks produce an ashy top and if the ashy top becomes too long, the wick will not light or stay lit. Typically, it's best to remove the ashy top every time you burn. Wood wicks may require multiple relights. Keep the wax free of debris and remove any wood pieces or ash after trimming. It is best to burn your candles for a minimum of 2 to 3 hours and no longer than 4 hours at one time. Stop burning when 1/2 inch of un-melted wax remains. Always burn your candle to the outside of the container with a full melt pool to avoid tunneling; this can take several hours sometimes, especially on your first burn and depending on the width of your candle. Never use the lid to put out the candle; always blow it out gently or use a candle snuffer. We do not recommend the use of a candle warmer with glass vessel candles. Always burn your candle within sight and away from drafts and anything flammable. Keep it out of reach from children and pets. Burn only on a heat safe surface. And most importantly, Enjoy Your Candle!
